Sydney really is a nice city, but as any other city its not without a catch.
Apparently a lot of money has been invested into Sydney’s traffic lights. All of them are good to see and have a sound indication for visually impaired people with a ‘nice’ sound once your light turns green. But that is where the problem is too. In order for ANY pedestrian light to turn green you need to press THE button – and then its time to wait. I would say it takes on average more than a minute to get a green light. This makes Sydney the least pedestrian-friendly city I know of. Well of cause you can just ignore the lights and walk like most Australians do.
Well, I guess this is just going to be one of the things I will not understand or like about Sydney.
